Applebee’s Newest One Dollar Margarita Comes With A Twizzlers Straw

With spring break and Tax Day on the horizon, Applebee’s is coming through in the clutch with a nostalgic boozy treat on a budget.

Their monthly dollar drink special is the Strawberry Dollarita, a sweet iteration on their viral bargain beverage made with tequila, strawberry, and margarita mix. What makes this one extra special, however, is the Twizzlers straw it comes garnished with. It’ll take you back to kindergarten sippin’ on fruit punch in a heartbeat.

Applebee’s has been finding a lot of success in the Dollarita, with several different varieties on the drink deal coming out since its debut in October 2017. This latest one capitalizes on spring and nostalgia, making it a refreshing way to get a discount and get your drink on.

The Strawberry Dollaritas, complete with Twizzler straws, will be available for the entire month of April.

Bye, Diet: Applebee’s Has AYCE Shrimp, Riblets & Tenders

The Applebee’s holy trinity of bar food is joining forces in an all you can eat deal.

For a limited time, the grill and bar will be be offering an AYCE special for its classic riblets, shrimp, and chicken tenders, for $14.99.

They’ve offered AYCE deals for their riblets and tenders in the past, but this year, they added their Double Crunch shrimp to the mix.

And yes, you can mix and match between the three, so there’s no fine print with some terrible stipulation about only choosing one.

Joining the AYCE deal is their $2 Captain and Cola. Apparently Applebee’s is a Pepsi supporter, so that’s why it’s Captain and Cola, and not Rum and Coke.

Probably the best thing about this new deal is the “trailer” Applebee’s put way too much budget into. It’s got a deep baritone narration, random explosions, and Vin Diesel-like driving scenes.

While family-friendly fast casual restaurants aren’t quite as popular as they once were, Applebee’s still cranks out interesting and useful deals, such as the AYCE appetizers and $1 cocktails.

It’s never a bad idea to stuff your face, and for $15, you can do a lot worse.

Applebee’s Is Making Dollar-Priced Mixed Drinks With JOLLY RANCHERS

Anyone who has attempted to make vodka infusions before, knows one of the most popular ways to create one is with hard candy. The sugars, flavors, and colors from the treats transfer quite easily over to the alcohol, creating sweet shots of alcohol that generate the buzz at whatever function you’re turning up to.

Applebee’s is capitalizing on that infusion concept with their newest bargain alcohol deal: Dollar-priced drinks that take vodka and infuse it with various Jolly Ranchers.

The originator of dollar drink deals, Applebee’s is banking on everyone’s love of Jolly Ranchers and putting two of the more popular flavors into a vodka-based cocktail. Selling them in 10-ounce mugs these “Dollar Jollys” in Green Apple and Cherry versions will be available for the entire month of December.

Although they’re called “Dollar Jollys,” each participating location may vary their availability and price, according to a press release.

As a little side bonus, each of these drinks will come with an additional Jolly Rancher hard candy for an extra hit of sweetness. Like Jolly Ranchers tend to do, the drink will change the color of your tongue, which may prove for further entertainment to the rest of your squad.

As soon as the clock struck midnight, Monday, and October rolled in, everyone was ready for the spookiest 31 days of the year.

That ‘everyone’ includes Applebee’s, who is joining in on the Halloween fun with a $1 Zombie cocktail special.

If you’re not familiar with a Zombie drink, it is a mix of fruit juices, typically passion fruit and a mix of light and dark rums. Applebee’s Zombie combines its own special mix of rum, passion fruit, pineapple, cherry, lime and of course, brain-shaped gummies.

The $1 deal will run through the entire month of October, and falls in line with similar alcohol-based deals from the past, such as their Dollaritas, and $1 Long Island Iced Teas.

Just one day in, and it looks like joyful alcohol enthusiasts have already mapped out their entire month of October:

If you’re trying to get some booze on a budget, Applebee’s has you covered for the rest of October.
