How to Order Horchata, Creamsicle and Cake Pop Frappes from the Starbucks Secret Menu

You don’t often see many fast-food chains embracing their secret menus. On the way to work, I stopped at a Starbucks in Santa Ana, CA and noticed some secret menu frappes on their Pinterest-friendly chalk board. These drinks included “Happy Horchata”, “Orange County Creamsicle” and the “Incredible Cake-Pop Surprise”. Not your regular menu items, but this store was more than happy to share them with their regulars. Take note, every other Starbucks.

For anyone who’s adventurous enough to try the Horchata, Orange Creamsicle and Cake Pop Frappuccinos, here’s how to order them. If you don’t mind the extra charge, they’re definitely worth experiencing at least once. While these are not your official drinks, the store seemed to care very little about the secrecy of the coveted menu. Looking at you, In-N-Out.

  • Order a Tazo Chai Creme Frappuccino
  • Add vanilla syrup, Cinnamon Dolce syrup and Chai syrup
  • Add whipped cream and cinnamon as a topper

Orange Creamsicle

  • Order choice of milk
  • Add Orange Mango or Valencia Orange Refresher Juice
  • Add classic syrup and a creme base
  • Add whipped cream

You shouldn’t ask Starbucks employees to blend any food with your drink. (ie, the cake pops) they’re technically not suppose to, and it’s a health hazard (ie, food allergies among other customers) . You’re a fucking asshole if you ask them to do this

These customers just don’t get it Nicole. Customers at bux are usually clueless to how ridiculous they are. They think that the more confusing their drinks are, the cuter and funnier it is. People who order stupid drinks just for the sake of being complicated or cute, your barista dislikes you. And if you don’t tip on top of ordering stupid drinks, you know where you can go.

You really think ppl order these things to be cute? Isn’t it more logical to assume they’re ordering these cuz they sound amazing for your taste buds? Besides this comment is coming from someone who refers to Starbucks as “bux”.. Pretty cute…

A machine which makes espresso… That’s it. Do they not deserve anything for the rest of the order? Especially during events like Frappucino Happy Hour when they can get a hundred orders of the most annoying drink to make in an hour. I worked there and other coffee shops for years and memorizing all of the recipes was the hardest part of the job.

You are right, if i were to order one of these delicious extras it’s my duty to tip them, especially if it’s not technically on the menu and they could say no but instead go that extra bit to make my purchase special.. It’s not the extras that are the problem, it’s people who expect the extra but don’t want to reciprocate the favour.

Baristas are perfectly capable of doing their fucking jobs, Nicole. If they know they shouldn’t be doing this and still do it anyway just because ‘the customer asked me to’, then they’re the fucking asshole and shouldn’t be employed.

Maybe you should read before making your irrelevant comments, I am in no way questioning employees competence, but the rude ass customers for making such ridiculous requests, and then becoming upset and angry when the baristas are refusing.
And you contradicted yourself, as there are obviously baristas incapable of doing their jobs and not following regulations, hence why these stupid ass fraps even exist.

Right cuz they don’t already mix ingredients that ppl are allergic to in their blenders?? A cake pop is the only risk to food allergy at Starbucks? Seriously if I want to ask for this I really don’t give a f*ck about your allergy.. Why? Cuz my life does not revolve around you!

Your existence doesn’t affect me, and the world doesn’t revolve around you. They have separate blenders for dairy products and non-dairy products, which is what they mostly put into the blenders.
And you’re a piece of shit if you think it’s okay for some little kid to get food contamination because your fat ass wants your million calorie “cake frap”. Go fuck yourself

Seriously? Dairy is not the only thing ppl are allergic to either.. In fact any place you order from poses a threat to those with allergies.. But that should not stop anyone from ordering what they would like.. I know the world doesn’t revolve around me, you’re the one who seems to think that everyone should adjust their food/drink decisions around others.. And what kid goes to Starbucks?? And FYI just cuz I like cake doesn’t mean I’m fat, I’m actually quite thin but it amuses me that “contaminating” children is offensive but you think it’s okay to judge ppl and call them “fat ass”.
