DUKE’S Becomes First Beef Jerky Brand to go “All Natural”

The DUKE’S™ Brand of Beef Jerky, Steak Strips and Beef Brisket Strips have jumped to all natural ingredients. Starting first quarter of 2012, DUKE’S brand products will shelf eight different all natural items. In addition to the products being preserved by all natural ingredients, the switch over will include the removal of hydrolyzed soy protein, MSG, erythorbate, and sodium nitrites.

Justin Havlick, president and founder of Thanasi Foods (parent company of DUKE’S brand) adds, “This initiative keeps up with DUKES’ small batch promise to make jerky the way it should be made – in small batches with simple and clean ingredients.”

The products involved in the all natural lineup:

  • DUKE’S – Original Angus Beef Jerky
  • DUKE’S – Black Magic Peppered Beef Jerky
  • DUKE’S – FRANK’S® REDHOT® Cayenne Pepper Beef Jerky
  • DUKE’S – FRANK’S® REDHOT® Chile ‘N Lime Steak Strips
  • DUKE’S – Jim Beam® Bourbon Glaze Steak Strips
  • DUKE’S – Jim Beam® Hickory Smoked Beef Jerky
  • DUKE’S – Stubb’s® Spicy Bar-B-Q Beef Brisket Strips
  • DUKE’S – Kikkoman® Teriyaki Beef Jerky
