‘Assassin’s Creed’ Celebrates Anniversary With Its Own Signature Whiskey

Gamers who have spent hours, if not days, on action-adventure games like “Assassin’s Creed,” can now have a toast to their victories with a signature whiskey.

Antheum Studios recently announced the release of Assassin’s Creed 15th Anniversary Straight Bourbon Whiskey. This special edition whiskey celebrates 15 years of one of the most popular video game franchises in history.

“Assassin’s Creed” is a franchise of video games, comics, and novels created by Ubisoft. The franchise is set in a fictionalized history of real-world events and follows the stories of several different protagonists who are all members of the Assassin Order. The first game in the franchise was released in 2007, and since then, there have been multiple sequels and spin-offs. The most recent entry in the main series, “Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla,” was released in 2020. The franchise has also been adapted into a feature film of the same name, starring Michael Fassbender, in 2016.

Antheum Studios is a leading licensing, bottling, and distribution company for some of the most popular properties in film, television, sports, and gaming. The company partners with distillery Tennessee Legend and offers nationwide distribution. Visitors to one of Tennessee Legend’s four retails stores can become among the first to own a bottle of Antheum’s newest release.

The whiskey is available for online order now for $69. A spiced rum and vodka are coming to the collection coming next month.

FaZe Clan Launches New Sub Sandwiches Exclusively on DoorDash

Once you dominate one field, why not hop into another and start a new reign? That must be what the minds at FaZe Clan must be thinking as they unveil a new sub sandwich line which is now their third venture into food. First with McDonald’s and then with Totino’s; this sub menu comes as the first collaboration stemming from the DoorDash and FaZe Clan partnership announced earlier this year.

Available exclusively on DoorDash, the FaZe Clan team and decorated member FaZe Rug have created an entire sub sandwich menu by collaborating with none other than Chef Eric Greenspan, the Virtual Dining Concepts Culinary Director (who also has a Grilled Cheese cook book,) and TV personality.

The menu boasts a variety of sandwiches that all sound enticing with some of your favorite chips being a core part of their recipes. The Rug Father for example comes with smoked turkey, provolone, guacamole, pepperoncini, FaZe Sauce and Funyuns while the Overkill offers turkey, ham, bacon, provolone, pepperoncini, FaZe sauce and Ruffles potato chips.

Everyone is getting into food. At this point, if you got a business, throw some food in there!

Hear me out: You’re not just a barber, you’re a barber who also makes waffles. “Get cut up, while your waffles get done up,” would be the slogan on the window outside.

Hendrick’s Goes Low-Tech With Their Version of a Gaming Chair

There’s something to be said for a brand that throws caution to the wind to do the unexpected… repeatedly. Hendrick’s Gin and its Department of Not-So Convenient Technology are at it again with today’s announcement of its Hendrick’s Gaming Chaise.

The Scottish gin brand that recently decided to get pickles “more pickled” have decided that what the world needs is a new gaming chair. However, this isn’t for the high-tech minded but rather for purists who prefer Parcheesi to PS4 while sipping on a G&T.

The limited-edition Hendrick’s Gaming Chaise is said to be “the world’s longest and least technological gaming chair” created specifically for unplugged play. The brand partnered with Brooklyn-based Pickett Furniture and Design to conceive and build this low-fi lounger.

The chaise is a handmade, seven-foot-long statement piece upholstered in tufted Hendrick’s green velvet and outfitted with copper accents. While the length of it makes it unfit for sitting close to a screen, the additional inches enhance comfort and enable real-world play. In other words, size matters.

“We’ve taken a more Renaissance approach, integrating a well-rounded range of features with an eye toward timeless distractions,” explains Vance Henderson, Hendrick’s National Ambassador (seen above). “Our contrarian outlook begins with our unique chaise design, which actively — perhaps I should say, leisurely — discourages any performance-driven efficiency and utility, and instead encourages casual cocktail sipping and an afternoon nap.”

The Hendrick’s Gaming Chaise features an amplified horn that allows users to call for additional drinks or supplies, retractable arms that hold bottles and cards, secret compartments for storage for classic games (which are included), the barware needed to create the perfect Hendrick’s cocktail and, of course, a bottle of Hendrick’s Gin.

Now, in its fourth release, the Hendrick’s Department of Not-So Convenient Technology was introduced in 2018 to offer the world a break from relentless tech upgrades. Previously, the Department was responsible for the Hendrick’s High Wheel, a Victorian-era stationary bike and cocktail stand, and Hendrick’s Horatio, the first “somewhat” smart speaker.

Beginning today (November 16th), you can sign up to buy the limited-edition Hendrick’s Gaming Chaise here. Those who join the list will receive an email notification when the product goes live for purchase at $3,988.08 (shipping and accessories included).
