As I sit here and catch up on some old posts, while listening to my favorite artist of all time; Notorious B.I.G. The classic song “What’s Beef” starts playing in my iTunes. What a coincedence that I was eating the Ultimate Cheeseburger from Jack-in-the-Box at the same time. What’s Beef? That burger is.
As Thanksgiving passes and we all gear up for the next big holiday; Christmas, what a better way to decorate your tree this year than with Food and Beverage depicted ornaments. You can eat food around the tree, while looking at food on the tree. It’s a win-win situation. Check out some of these great ornaments after the jump. (Thx Bronners)
Could you put any more meat on a Pizza? It would be hard to. Behold Domino’s latest invention! The 8 Meats Pizza! It’s got Smoked Bacon, Italian Sausage, Shredded Cotto, Pepperoni, Bacon, Beef, Ham and Lamb?! (in other words, pig, pig, pig, pig, pig, beef, pig, lamb!) They should have had Turkey as a special add-on for the holidays. (Thx SupersizedMeals)
If you find yourself under pressure to make a healthy choice at the drive-thru window, would you order McDonald’s Premium Caesar Salad or a large fries? If you’re watching your sodium intake, salty fries would be the better choice by far. (Thx HealthyLiving)
Ernest Hemingway said “Every man’s life ends the same way. It is only the details of how he lived and how he died that distinguish one man from another. Life is a constant feast, so dig in.” With that said, I ventured into making my favorite thing following the wonderful holiday of Thanksgiving; Leftover Mini Turkey Sandwiches. Come with me into this magical wonderland and witness the greatness.
Costco expects to have sold more than 1 million fresh-baked, giant $5.99 pumpkin pies during this short week when in-store bakeries run around the clock. Stores were so busy that the wheeled pie-laden carts in transit from bakeries to the huge refrigerators grow lighter as they go; shoppers walk alongside and pull off pies, then hurry for the cash registers.
McDonald’s has opened two restaurants in Japan that sell only Quarter Pounder meals (single or double). Aptly titled, Quarter Pounder, the restaurants are probably part of a marketing campaign to promote the burger which is not currently sold in regular McDonald’s restaurants. (Thx Neil Duckett)
