Edible Chocolate Lego Bricks Designed by Akihiro Mizuuchi

Chocolate Lego

Japanese designer Akihiro Mizuuchi was able to make the ultimate childhood toy — LEGO — even better by turning them into chocolate. Oh, yes.

Sure there have already been measly attempts at creating edible Lego, like those hard candy versions you can find at the corner store. But Mizuuchi’s chocolate variety makes for an even tastier building block.

Although chocolate might melt fairly easily, it seems as though the choco-LEGO still fit together like the standard versions. Still, worst case scenario if they do get messy?  You’d have a pile of chocolate waiting to be eaten. Man, that would stink.

The World’s Coolest Dad Invents a Pancake Spirograph

Pangraph

Remember part dad, part pancake maker Saipancakes? (Check out those Hobbit and Pokemon versions.) Well, he’s back in the breakfast game full force, and this time he has a new way to make pancake designs — the Pangraph.

The guy behind all this pancake art is Nathan Shields, and he came up with a genius spirograph for breakfast time. All you really have to do is squirt pancake batter through the little holes, move the Pangraph around your skillet, and what results is a truly delicious work of art.

Coolest dad in the world? Duh! Check out the Pangraph in action below:

Science Says Frozen Steak is Better than Thawed Steak [WATCH]

Frozen Steak

Life should never come down to cooking a frozen steak, but sometimes you’re too impatient to wait for that meat slab to thaw. Luckily, America’s Test Kitchen has come up with a method for cooking rock solid meat that actually turns out to be freakin’ delicious.

ATK compared the cooking of thawed and frozen steaks by first searing the pieces for 90 seconds on each side, then finishing them off in the oven. Not surprisingly, the frozen versions took a few more minutes to get to medium rare, but they browned just as quickly as their warmer counterparts when seared. Even more interesting is the frozen steaks ended up having a thinner band of gray, overcooked meat below the surface and retained more moisture than the thawed meat.

The result? America’s Test Kitchen preferred the cooked-from-frozen steaks, hands down. Still, nothing beats fresh steak, thawed or not.

Check out how to freeze, avoid flare ups and cook frozen steak below:

Chocolate Tequila Sauce Will Get You Dessert Drunk

Chocolate Tequila Sauce

Thanks to the genius minds over at Dude, Sweet Chocolate, it’s now possible to get tipsy off chocolate sauce. Ohh baby.

One Night Stand Potion is a sweet mixture of 100 Anos Reposado tequilla, Valrohna cocoa powder, South American chocolate and agave. It’s like a dangerously delicious take on Mexican coffee that serves as a boozy ice cream or fruit topping. But perhaps the best use of One Night Stand Potion is in a chocolatey martini, using a 3 to 1 alcohol to syrup ratio.

Of course, you can always just drink this stuff straight and bask in the sugary tequila buzz.
